Is there a Fomo Family token?

No. As of September 20, 2026, Fomo Labs Inc. has not announced, launched or hinted at an official token for the Fomo Family app. The company is funded by venture capital (about $94M from Benchmark, Index Ventures and Union Square Ventures) and earns revenue from trading fees. It has no need for a token to operate and has said nothing about one on its blog, X account or Discord.

Every token named "FOMO", "Fomo Family", "FOMOFAM" or similar that you see on Solana, Base or BNB Chain was created by someone else. Some are jokes, some are honest community coins, and many are designed to exploit searches for "fomo family token". None of them give you any stake in Fomo Labs or any benefit inside the app.

Is there a Fomo airdrop?

No official airdrop exists. Fomo's growth incentives are the referral program (10% off fees for referred users, commission for referrers) and occasional in-app rewards or merch for affiliates. Any site or account announcing a "Fomo airdrop", "FOMO points claim" or "Fomo Family season 1 rewards" is not official.

Airdrop scams follow a pattern:

  1. A post or DM says you are eligible for a FOMO airdrop.
  2. A link takes you to a site that looks like fomo.family.
  3. You are asked to connect a wallet, sign a message or enter a seed phrase to "claim".
  4. The signature or seed phrase drains your wallet.

Fomo's real wallet never asks for a seed phrase in a browser, and the real app has no "claim" page.

Can you buy Fomo stock?

No. Fomo Labs is a private company. Its shares are held by founders, employees and investors. There is no ticker, and any "Fomo stock" or "pre-IPO Fomo token" offer is fraudulent. Perps on Fomo do include some pre-IPO names, but Fomo itself is not one of them.

Why speculation persists

Many consumer crypto apps (for example, some wallets and perps platforms) have launched tokens after building a user base, and Fomo's users are the kind of audience that watches for such signals. The company's ties to Hyperliquid, which does have a token, add to the confusion. Speculation is not evidence. Until an announcement appears on fomo.family/blog or x.com/fomo, treat every token claim as false.

What to do if you see a "Fomo Family token"

  • Do not connect your wallet or sign anything.
  • Check fomo.family/blog and x.com/fomo (verified account) for an announcement. If there is none, it is not real.
  • Report the account or site to the platform and in the official Discord.
  • If you already signed a transaction, revoke approvals immediately with a tool such as revoke.cash and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet.

Private keys and "listing" requests

Two related scams target Fomo users:

  • Private key requests: "Support" asks for your private key or seed phrase to "verify" your account for an airdrop. Never share it. See private key export for how to back up your key safely.
  • Listing fees: someone claims they can "list your coin on Fomo" for a fee. Fomo has no listing process; tokens with liquidity on supported chains appear automatically. See how to launch a coin on the Fomo app.

Frequently asked questions

Will Fomo Family launch a token?

The company has not said so. We will update this page if an official announcement appears.

Is the FOMO token on Solana the Fomo app's token?

No. Tokens named FOMO on any chain are unaffiliated with Fomo Labs.

How do I know an airdrop announcement is real?

It will appear on fomo.family/blog and the verified @fomo X account, and the claim process will be inside the official app, never through a wallet-connect page.

Does Fomo have points or rewards?

Fomo has run in-app rewards and affiliate bonuses at times. These are not tokens and are announced in the app or on the official blog.
