Is there a Fomo Family API?

As of September 20, 2026, Fomo Labs does not offer a public API for trading, account data or the social feed. There is no developer portal, no API key section in the app and no published rate limits or endpoints. The app talks to Fomo's private backend, and the terms of service do not grant permission to automate access to it.

Searches for "fomo family api" mostly return either unrelated products (the fomo.com marketing tool has an API) or third-party "Fomo bots" that ask for your login credentials. The latter are a security risk: with your credentials they control your non-custodial wallet.

Where the documentation lives

Fomo's public documentation is user-facing rather than developer-facing:

• Help and answers: fomo.family/answers, a searchable set of questions on wallets, meme coins, copy trading, fees and safety.
• Blog: fomo.family/blog, with monthly product recaps that are the best changelog for new features.
• Terms and privacy: fomo.family/terms and fomo.family/privacy-policy, which include the fee policy.
• Affiliates: fomo.family/affiliates for the referral program.

We found no official public repositories for Fomo Labs on GitHub. Repositories named "fomo" or "fomo-family" are unrelated projects or unofficial scripts. Do not run unofficial code that asks for Fomo credentials.

What developers can do today

Read on-chain data

Your Fomo wallet is a normal address on Solana, Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Monad and Robinhood Chain. Anything you build can read balances, trades and P&L using public RPC nodes, explorers (Solscan, Basescan, Etherscan) or indexers such as Helius, Birdeye or Dune. That covers portfolio tracking and tax exports without any Fomo API.

Use the tax integration

Fomo integrates with Awaken for tax reporting. If you need trade history in a spreadsheet, that route or a chain indexer is the practical option. See Fomo app taxes.

Join the affiliate program

Affiliates get a dashboard with real-time conversion and commission data. There is no documented API for it, but it covers reporting needs for most creators. See referral code.

Build on the perps venues

Fomo's perps run on Hyperliquid and Trade.xyz, both of which have public APIs. You cannot act on your Fomo positions through them, but you can build tools around the same markets.

Browser extensions and bots

There is no official Fomo browser extension. Unofficial extensions that promise sniping, auto-buy or copy trading on Fomo require account access and can drain your wallet. If you want automation, use a platform that explicitly supports it with API keys and permission scopes, and keep it separate from your Fomo balance.

Will Fomo release an API?

The company has not announced one. Given its focus on a consumer app and the risk of bots front-running its social feed, an open trading API seems unlikely in the near term. We will update this page if that changes; follow the official X account at x.com/fomo for announcements.
