How to add money to Fomo Family
Option 1: Deposit crypto
- Tap the balance or the deposit button.
- Choose the network: Solana, Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Monad or Robinhood Chain.
- Copy the address or scan the QR code.
- From your wallet or exchange, send a supported asset on that exact network. USDC and the chain's native coin (SOL, ETH, BNB, MON) are the safest choices.
- Wait for confirmations. Solana and Base usually credit in under a minute.
Send a small test amount first if this is a new wallet. Sending an asset on the wrong network (for example, USDC on Polygon to a Base address) can result in permanent loss.
Option 2: Apple Pay
Since January 2026 Fomo supports Apple Pay deposits through the Coinbase onramp. Tap deposit, choose Apple Pay, enter an amount, and complete the Coinbase flow. The first time, Coinbase may ask you to verify identity and region. Card processing and provider fees are shown before you pay and are separate from Fomo's fees.
Apple Pay not working? The usual causes are: your region is not supported by the onramp, your card issuer blocks crypto purchases, a daily limit was reached, or the onramp is temporarily degraded. Try a different card, check status and support, or deposit crypto instead.
Cash App, PayPal, bank transfer, Google Pay
Fomo does not accept Cash App, PayPal or direct bank transfers. If you hold Bitcoin in Cash App, you can send it to an exchange, convert to USDC on Solana or Base and deposit that. Google Pay is not documented as a deposit method as of our last check.
How to withdraw money from Fomo Family
- Open the token or balance you want to withdraw.
- Tap withdraw or send.
- Choose the network and paste the destination address. Double-check the first and last characters.
- Enter the amount, review the network fee and confirm with biometrics.
- The transfer is on-chain; most arrive within a minute on Solana and Base.
Fomo does not publish a withdrawal fee of its own. The network fee is deducted from the amount you send.

How to cash out to a bank account
Fomo has no fiat off-ramp. To get money to your bank:
- Sell your tokens for USDC (or the native coin) inside Fomo.
- Withdraw the USDC to an exchange account that supports your country, for example Coinbase, Kraken, Binance or a local exchange.
- Sell USDC for your currency on the exchange and withdraw to your bank.
This adds one exchange fee and one withdrawal fee. Choose the network with the lowest fee that the exchange supports (Solana or Base are usually cheapest).
Verification holds and "verification issue" messages
Crypto deposits do not require identity verification. Some users report a verification step or hold when withdrawing, particularly on new accounts with large deposits or unusual patterns. If you see one, contact in-app support with your account email; do not respond to anyone who contacts you first claiming to fix it. See support.
Minimum deposit and withdrawal
No fixed minimum is published for either. Because network fees are flat, withdrawing a few dollars on Ethereum makes no sense; on Solana it is fine. Users commonly start with $20 to $50.
Failed deposits: what to check
- Wrong network: the most common cause. Confirm the network in your sending wallet matches the address type.
- Unsupported token: exotic tokens may not display until they are recognised. Stablecoins and native coins are safest.
- Pending confirmations: Ethereum can take several minutes during congestion.
- Onramp issues: Apple Pay purchases can fail at the card or Coinbase stage; check the email from Coinbase.
Frequently asked questions
Can you withdraw money from the Fomo app?
Yes. You can withdraw any supported asset to an external wallet address on the same network at any time. There is no direct bank withdrawal.
How long does a Fomo withdrawal take?
Usually under a minute on Solana and Base, a few minutes on Ethereum and BNB Chain, subject to network conditions.
Is there a withdrawal fee?
Fomo does not charge one of its own. You pay the network's gas fee.
Do I need KYC to use Fomo Family?
Not for crypto deposits and trading. The Apple Pay onramp is run by Coinbase and may require identity verification.
Why does Fomo say "failed to sell"?
Usually the token has too little liquidity for your order at the quoted slippage. Try a smaller amount or a higher slippage tolerance. See troubleshooting.
