Why Monad on Fomo
Monad is a high-throughput blockchain that runs Ethereum-style smart contracts with parallel execution, giving it Solana-like speed with full EVM compatibility. The Fomo app supported it from the first day of mainnet in November 2025, which means the earliest Monad tokens and the wallets trading them have been visible in the Fomo feed since the chain went live.
For traders, Monad combines two things: the familiar token model of Ethereum and Base, and gas costs that make one-tap trading practical.
What you can trade on Monad
- Monad-native memecoins and community tokens launched since mainnet.
- Ecosystem tokens from Monad DeFi and infrastructure projects as they list on DEXs.
- Stablecoins as your cash position.
Token pages show the chart, liquidity, holder spread and who in your network holds the token. New chains attract many low-liquidity launches, so those numbers matter more here than anywhere.
Fund your Monad balance
You do not need to bridge anything to Monad. Deposit USDC or SOL on Solana, or USDC or ETH on Base, and Fomo's single balance buys Monad tokens directly. If the deposit screen lists Monad as a network, you can also send supported assets there. See Fomo app deposit and withdrawal.
Your first Monad trade
- Open a token from the feed, the trending list or by pasting its contract address.
- Tap Buy and pick a dollar preset.
- Review the total on the confirmation screen: Fomo fee, gas and expected slippage.
- Confirm. Sell with percentage presets whenever you choose.
Follow the earliest Monad wallets
Set the leaderboard filter to Monad to see who has been profitable on the chain since launch. Because the chain is young, prefer traders with many trades over a short, lucky streak. Follow, enable alerts and their Monad trades arrive on your phone instantly. See Fomo app copy trading.
Fees and gas on Monad
Monad gas is under five cents and is included in the single quoted cost. The Fomo fee is per trade and is 10% lower for the life of the account when you sign up through our link. See Fomo Family fees.
Withdraw from Monad
Tap Withdraw and choose the network the destination wallet uses. Most exchanges accept deposits on Solana or Base rather than Monad, so for cashing out, withdrawing on those chains is simpler. Fomo adds no withdrawal fee of its own.
Stay safe on Monad
A new chain means new tokens with little history. Check liquidity and holder concentration, confirm contract addresses from the project's official channels, and keep sizes small until a token has traded for a while. Install Fomo only from the Fomo Family app download.
Frequently asked questions
When did Fomo add Monad?
At Monad's mainnet launch in November 2025. Fomo was a day-one trading venue for the chain.
Do I need Monad's native token for gas?
No. Fomo pays gas from your dollar balance and shows it in the quote.
Can I trade Monad tokens from a Solana deposit?
Yes. Fomo keeps one balance across all six chains, so funds deposited on Solana or Base buy Monad tokens without a bridge.
