Withdrawing from the Fomo Family app is an on-chain transfer: you send tokens from your Fomo wallet to another address on the same network. There is no direct bank withdrawal, so cashing out means one extra step through an exchange. Here is the full process.

Before you withdraw

  • Know the destination network. A Solana address only receives Solana tokens; an EVM address (starting with 0x) receives Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Monad or Robinhood Chain tokens, but you must pick the right chain.
  • Have a little balance for the network fee. Fomo abstracts gas, but the fee still comes out of what you send.
  • Test with a small amount the first time you use any address.

Withdraw to an external wallet

  1. Open the Fomo app and go to your portfolio or balance.
  2. Select the token you want to withdraw. If you are cashing out, sell to USDC first so you withdraw a stablecoin.
  3. Tap withdraw or send.
  4. Choose the network. For USDC, Solana or Base are the cheapest.
  5. Paste the destination address. Check the first four and last four characters against the source.
  6. Enter the amount or tap max. Review the network fee shown.
  7. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
  8. Wait. Solana and Base withdrawals usually arrive in under a minute; Ethereum can take a few minutes.

You can track the transaction on Solscan, Basescan or Etherscan using your wallet address.

Withdraw to a bank account

Fomo has no fiat off-ramp, so use an exchange that supports your country:

  1. In Fomo, sell your tokens for USDC.
  2. On the exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, or a local exchange), open the deposit page for USDC and choose a network that both the exchange and Fomo support, ideally Solana or Base.
  3. Copy the exchange's deposit address and withdraw from Fomo to it, following the steps above.
  4. On the exchange, sell USDC for your currency.
  5. Withdraw to your bank.

Expect one network fee, one exchange trading fee and one bank withdrawal fee. For amounts under about $20 the fees may not be worth it.

Withdrawal fees and limits

Fomo does not publish a withdrawal fee of its own. The network fee is deducted from the amount. There is no published minimum or maximum, though large or unusual withdrawals from new accounts can trigger a verification step. See fees.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Network Typical time
Solana Seconds to one minute
Base Under one minute
BNB Chain One to two minutes
Monad Under one minute
Ethereum Two to ten minutes, longer during congestion

If the app shows the withdrawal as complete but the destination has not received it, check the transaction hash on the chain explorer before contacting anyone. Exchanges also need their own confirmation count before crediting.

Verification issue when withdrawing

Some users see a verification prompt or a hold when withdrawing, most often on new accounts with large deposits or when a withdrawal pattern looks automated. This is a risk control, not a scam. Complete the steps in the app and, if it does not clear, contact in-app support with your account email and the transaction details. Never respond to anyone who messages you first offering to "release" a withdrawal. See support.

Common withdrawal errors

  • Insufficient balance for fee: leave a small amount of the native coin or reduce the withdrawal slightly.
  • Invalid address: the address is for a different network. Check the format.
  • Token not supported on this network: you selected a chain where the token does not exist. Sell to USDC and withdraw that.
  • Withdrawal pending for a long time: the chain is congested. Wait; do not resend.

Frequently asked questions

Can you withdraw money from the Fomo app?

Yes, to any external wallet on a supported network, at any time. Bank withdrawals go through an exchange.

Is there a fee to withdraw from Fomo?

Only the network fee. Fomo does not add its own withdrawal fee.

Can I withdraw to Coinbase or Binance?

Yes. Use the exchange's deposit address for the same token and network.

Why can't I withdraw to my bank directly?

Fomo is a non-custodial crypto app without a fiat off-ramp. An exchange provides that step.
